Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats have removed the interim tag from Paul Silas and extended the coach's contract through the 2011-12 season. Silas took over after Larry Brown resigned on December 22 and has guided the Bobcats to a record of 15-13 in that time.
